Update 6a adds SPARQL queries to graph databases, BACnet Schedule objects, the Altus ALNET II and SNMP connectors on Linux, and a Value Simulator that produces realistic process data. The web client opens displays faster, and the AI tools report the exact result of every action while keeping changes to running Production solutions under your control.

Unified Namespace and knowledge graph

Displays and Symbols

• Editable ComboBox accepts typed values and keeps its value when you return to a display.
• The AssetsTree control filters its tree by UserType.
• The Draw editor opens displays at a default zoom you choose.

Runtime, redundancy and performance

• Solutions with many tags use less memory, and tag changes are processed faster.
• The runtime restarts on Server.Restart and recovers automatically after an unexpected stop.
• A redundant standby keeps its startup options through solution updates.

Behavior Changes to Review

• Expressions evaluated at run time follow VB.NET rules. Integer divided by integer gives a fraction (5 / 2 is 2.5), text plus number is a sum (use & to join texts), and And / Or evaluate both sides (use AndAlso / OrElse to stop at the first). Display parameters follow the same rule: V=10 / 4 shows 2.5.
• Allow Client Tasks controls client tasks in WPF clients. If your solution uses ClientStartup, ClientShutdown or Client-domain tasks, check that Allow Client Tasks (WPF only) is enabled in Solution Settings.
• The Value Simulator validates function addresses. Write function addresses in the documented form, for example SINE with its parameters. Other existing points keep their behavior.
• Two AI Runtime capabilities are enabled on request. The switchover tool is offered when the server is started with its option, and the tools for Tatsoft's automated testing are listed when the server starts with /AllowTestTools:true.
