Legacy connector that read historical data from OPC UA servers with Historical Access.

Overview

The OPC HDA UA Client connector read raw historical samples from an OPC UA server that implements Historical Access. It let trends and historian queries in FrameworX show history stored in that server.

The connector does not poll live values. For live data from OPC UA servers, use the OPC UA Client Connector.

Legacy Status

This connector is kept in the product so that solutions already using it keep working. It is not recommended for new projects, and it receives no new features.

Configuration

Node Station

Station syntax: <Service URL>;<Domain>;<UserName>;<Password>;<WindowsAuthentication>;<DisableSecurity>

• <Service URL>: endpoint URL of the OPC UA server.
• <Domain>: server hostname or domain.
• <UserName> and <Password>: credentials for authentication.
• <WindowsAuthentication>: True to authenticate with the Windows account. Default is False.
• <DisableSecurity>: True to connect without security. Default is False.

Points

The point address is the OPC UA NodeId of the historized variable, for example ns=2;s=MyTag (string identifier) or ns=2;i=1001 (numeric identifier).
