The assessment covers Tatsoft migrates the complete application . The import wizards in the Designer bring in tag definitions and basic configuration onlyfor you, starting with a free evaluation.

What the Assessment Is
Tatsoft reads the application object by object: tags, PLC addressing, alarms, history and every screen. The result is a written report.
The assessment describes your application. It does not convert it.
Which Applications
Any HMI or SCADA application, on any platform and in any version, including InTouch, iFIX, Ignition and FactoryTalk.
What to Send
Send a screenshot, a P&ID (piping and instrumentation diagram) or an application export.
To cover the complete application, the export includes:
- The tag database export
- The screen or window files
- The scripts
- The alarm configuration
- The historian or logging configuration
- The device or I/O server configuration
Nothing is installed on your system and nothing running is touched.
Some applications contain protected or encrypted parts. Read Migration Assessment Protected Content before you send. The same page states who is authorized to send an application.
How to Send It
Use the Send your application form at tatsoft.com/migrate-to-frameworx, or write to support@tatsoft.com. The form accepts files up to 20 MB.
For a larger application, send a download link to support@tatsoft.com, or contact Tatsoft at the same address.
What You Get
A written report. Tatsoft reads your application back to you object by object: tags, PLC addressing, alarms, history and every screen.
The report comes with a written fixed price for the migration.
Timeline
Tatsoft returns the written report in two to five working days.
This is the time to deliver the report. It is not an estimate for the migration.
Price
The assessment is free. The migration is a fixed price quoted from the assessment, and you pay only if you accept the result.
Confidentiality
Everything you send is held in confidence. We use it for one purpose only: the report we return to your company.
Anything you upload is used only for your migration assessment, and is not shared outside Tatsoft.
Importers in the Product
FrameworX does not include a converter for applications built in other products. The import wizards under Solution → Import Tags bring in tag definitions and basic configurationlists and other data; they do not migrate an application. See Solution Import Tags Reference for the list of wizards.
