Keyboard Shortcuts (Reference): Keyboard shortcuts available in the Designer environment for efficient navigation and editing.

Designer Generic Shortcuts

Available throughout the Designer environment:

Ctrl+Z	Undo
Ctrl+Y	Redo
Ctrl+X	Cut
Ctrl+C	Copy
Ctrl+V	Paste
Delete	Delete
Ctrl+F	Find
Ctrl+O	Open current window as new window
F1	Help
Ctrl+S	Save. From FrameworX 10.1.6, Ctrl+S also saves the active document when the cursor is inside a document editor, such as the Code Editor or the display editor.
Ctrl+N	New
Ctrl+A	Select All
Esc	Available from FrameworX 10.1.6. Cancels the active dialog and closes dropdown lists, pickers and auto-complete suggestions. When a window has unsaved changes, the save confirmation still appears, so Esc never discards unsaved work. Esc does not close document editors. This applies to the Designer only. The runtime clients are unchanged.

Specific to the Draw environment:

Ctrl + Click	Add or remove from selection
Ctrl+D	Duplicate selected elements
Arrow Keys	Move selected elements
Shift + Arrow Keys	Resize selected element
Tab	Select next element
Shift + Tab	Select previous element
Shift + Resize	Proportional resize (maintains aspect ratio)
Ctrl + Resize	Resize group contents (updates internal elements)
Ctrl + Mouse Wheel	Zoom in/out of canvas. The editor switches to the Pan tool, and a right-click returns to the Select tool. From FrameworX 10.1.6, zooming with the mouse wheel or the zoom slider is smoother on large displays.
Ctrl+W	Open document preview window

Available in the script Code Editor (C# and VB.NET) from FrameworX 10.1.6:

Key	Action
Ctrl + Click	Go to Definition. Jumps to the definition of the clicked class, method or namespace member. While you hold Ctrl, the symbol under the pointer is underlined as a link.
Tab	Inserts a tag found by name in the tag autocomplete list.
Arrow Keys, then Enter	Selects a tag found by name in the tag autocomplete list and inserts it. A period, a space or a semicolon does not insert a tag found by name.
